Apps Script runs on your own Google account with no separate server. So most small-scale automation has no monthly running cost.
There is no server
No hosting, no cloud instance to keep. Google provides the runtime environment.
Inside the free quota
Small-scale workplace automation fits comfortably within Google's daily execution limits.
The honest exception
Heavy volume or enterprise scale may need a Workspace plan or higher limits. We weigh that up front, together.
This doesn't mean "always 100% free." It holds for small, ordinary workloads; high usage can incur cost.
